Conspicuous Gallantry Medal

The Conspicuous Gallantry Medal is awarded for conspicuous gallantry by members of the Manticoran military or the Grand Alliance. In canon, known recpients include Roger Winton (Roger III), Lady Dame Honor Harrington, Michael Oversteegen, Abigail Hearns[1], Ginger Lewis, Michelle Henke, Sir Horace Harkness, Aubrey Wanderman, and Iris Babcock.
TRMN Information
This is the lowest award for gallantry and is awarded only any member in the RMN, RMMC and RMA. The criteria for this award is exceptional service to the Royal Manticoran Navy, Royal Manticoran Marine Corps and Royal Manticoran Army in general, either by demonstrating consistently outstanding performance over time, or by performing a particular task or service to a high standard of excellence, but not enough to qualify for the Order of Gallantry or the Navy/Army Star. The recipient is entitled to the post nominal letters of ‘CGM’.[2]
