Fleet Excellence Award

The Fleet Excellence Award (FEA), also known as the Fleet "E" Award, is presented to units of the RMN for excellence during fleet exercises or war games. Ships known in canon to have received this award include HMS Hawkwing[1].
TRMN Information
This Award is issued once per year to the Unit which most demonstrates their excellence compared to the other Fleets. A Unit is defined as a Chapter. Numbered Fleet Commanders submit their nominees to the First Space Lord. This is awarded based on the efforts of the entire Unit and not just the efforts of one person. Examples of this would be a Chapter building and maintaining a Bridge Simulator that they can bring to conventions, or a Chapter arranging a Charity event to raise money for either the TRMN Charity or a local Fleet Charity. Regardless of what the trigger is, it must set this unit above and beyond the rest of the units nominated. It is worn on the left hand side of the uniform and is the only group award so worn. If the First Space Lord is acting as a Numbered Fleet Commander, the First Lord of the Admiralty will issue this award.[2]
