The Monarch's Bravery Medal is referred to as the King's Bravery Medal or Queen's Bravery Medal as appropriate to the sitting Monarch at the time of the presentation. There are no known canon recipients of this honor.

This is the second lowest bravery award. To qualify for this award, the member must perform their duties in a manner above and beyond the call of duty. This is intended as a lesser version of the Gryphon Star, so similar criteria apply. The recipient is entitled to the post nominal letters of ‘QBM’.[1]
