HMS Revenge (SD-317) is a Medusa-class Pod-laying Superdreadnought within Battle Division 202 of Battle Squadron 2. Commanded by CAPTJG Theresa Hindle, Revenge claims Sacramento, California as her charter city. Revenge is the second production vessel of her class and serves as the Flagship of Battle Squadron 2.
History
Revenge was commissioned on 27 August 2016 by order of BuShips, under the command of CAPTJG Sir Joseph Harney. Her crew originally commissioned HMS Chainshot in May of 2016 and had upgraded to this new vessel. After commissioning, she was immediately assigned to Task Group 91.1's command.
In September, CDRE Harney stepped down as commanding officer and was relieved by CAPTJG Hindle. Revenge formed Battle Division 202 with HMS Thunderer in September, as part of Battle Squadron 2.
