Battle Squadron 1 (abbrev. BatRon 1) is a former Superdreadnought squadron that reported to Task Group 21.1 within Second Fleet. It was last commanded by CAPTSG Dame Jill McTavish, RMN, Countess of Miyake-Jima. This squadron's area of operations included the Greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul area of Minnesota.
It was originally designated as Battle Squadron 21 and renumbered to Battle Squadron 1 on 4 November 2014.[1]
