CHAPTER NAMES

Refer to Adjutant General Order 2407-01 for chapter naming policy. Chapters will use unique regimental names approved by the Adjutant-General. All chapters are considered to be part of a notional regiment, and take their name from that regiment, even if the actual chapter tier is not regiment sized.
Example: a Tier 3 chapter has selected The Shadow Vale Regiment as their chapter name. They portray “Alpha Company, First Battalion, Shadow Vale Regiment” and can grow to portray the entire First Battalion if they upgrade to Tier 5 and the entire Shadow Vale Regiment if they upgrade to Tier 9. Regardless of tier, the chapter name in MEDUSA is "Shadow Vale Regiment," and stays the same as the chapter grows.

ATTACHED ELEMENTS

Any Tier 1 chapter shall be an Attached Element (AE) of a Tier 2 or larger chapter, as assigned by the Adjutant-General. The AE leader will report to the parent chapter CO (or parent chapter member designated by the parent chapter CO), who shall assist the AE leader in their training and development. When the AE qualifies for Tier 2 or higher status, it may apply to be an independent chapter. The AE will be named for the parent regiment.
Example: “Shadow Vale Squad-1”

SUB-UNITS

Chapters may assign their members to smaller sub-echelons. For example, a battalion-strength chapter may assign members to companies within the battalion. These sub-echelons are for roleplay purposes and while the chapter uses them in their internal operations, they will not be specified in MEDUSA.

Issued by:
General John Neitz, KSK, KDR, DSO
Adjutant-General, Royal Manticoran Army
Duke of Westmarch
