Admiralty Order 1005-02 was issued May 11, 2010 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. It sets out the structure and requirements of awards for marksmanship in The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc..

Due to the legal liability associated with offering awards for actual marksmanship, live fire is specifically prohibited from being used to earn marksmanship awards. Please see Admiralty Order 1406-03 for further explanation.

Re: Marksmanship Awards (Admiralty Order 1005-02)

The following Admiralty Order details the Marksmanship Awards of the Royal Manticoran Navy. These shall be effective 01-Jun-2010.

Naval Rifle High Expert Award Sixth Space Lord As needed;
once per member
This award is given to any member for having completed fifty (50) games of a land based tactical game, such as Warhammer 30K. The games must be logged and witnessed by two people. RMN, RMMC, RMA, GSN, IAN, RHN, Civilian
Naval Pistol High Expert Award Sixth Space Lord As needed;
once per member
This award is given to any member for having completed fifty (50) games of a space based tactical game, such as the Saganami Island Tactical Simulator. The games must be logged and witnessed by two people, unless played via Saganami Island with a BuTrain Instructor. RMN, RMMC, RMA, GSN, IAN, RHN, Civilian
Naval Rifle Expert Award Sixth Space Lord As needed;
once per member
This award is given to any member for having completed twenty-five (25) games of a land based tactical game, such as Warhammer 30K. The games must be logged and witnessed by two people. RMN, RMMC, RMA, GSN, IAN, RHN, Civilian

This award is given to any member for having completed twenty-five (25) games of a space based tactical game, such as the Saganami Island Tactical Simulator.
