Admiralty Order 1312-01 was issued December 8, 2013 by the First Lord of the Admiralty and defines the Dual Rank policy within the The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc.. This order was rescinded by Admiralty Order 1503-03.

Due to the nature of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Fan Association, Inc., it will occasionally happen that members wind up holding roles in two divisions of the organization. When this occurs, they may be awarded a rank in both as well, and while, it would be normal for those ranks to be equal, they may not always be.
When this occurs, the member may choose to keep both ranks, but must designate one as Reserve with a (R) after their division in the following manner:
- RMN(R)
- RMMC(R)
- RMA(R)
- GSN(R)
The Grayson Space Navy is included as they traditionally in the books accept officer’s on loan from other alliance navies. This Admiralty Order does not, as of this time, apply to Civilians, the Republic of Haven Navy and the Imperial Andermani Navy.
