Protector's Order 1030-14 was issued October 30, 2014 by the High Admiral of the GSN. It appoints a new Staff Communications Officer to the High Admiral of the GSN.

Whereas on 09-28-14, I appointed RMN Captain Melyssa Smith as my Staff Communications Officer, and
Whereas, due to the timing in negotiating and setting up the post, Captain Melyssa Smith ended up with too many "hats," including CO of the HMS Hydra, and Deputy CO of 6th Fleet, and
Whereas as this has regrettably caused Captain Melyssa Smith to resign her post as my Staff Communications Officer, and
Therefore, as of the date of this order, by my hand, and by the authority of Benjamin Bernard Jason Mayhew IX, Protector of Grayson, I hereby appoint RMN Commander Joseph Barrow as my Staff Communications Officer. He is breveted to the rank of Captain, GSN . As such he is ordered to immediately report to my offices at Sword Hall. Where upon his arrival, Captain Barrows will execute the duties of his office as the Intercessor gives him to understand them, effective 11-01-14.
