BuShips Directive 1111-03 was issued 30 November 2011 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Kodiak Max.

My fellow Manticorans,

Effective as of 0001 Hours on November 30, 2011, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Kodiak Max, CA-413. This is a Saganami-C-class Heavy Cruiser and is assigned to the Second Fleet.

As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to the HMS Kodiak Max and brevetted in rank as indicated:

• Michael Larson to Captain, j.g. (assigned as CO, HMS Kodiak Max)
• Keith Dague to Commander (assigned as XO, HMS Kodiak Max)
• Shannon Wilson-Smathers to Chief Petty Officer (assigned as Chief Petty Officer, HMS Kodiak Max)
• Dave Sutheimer to Lieutenant, j.g.
• Keith Larson to Spacer 3rd Class
