Army Directive 02-1401 was issued 7 February 2014 under the authority of the Marshal of the Army. It is a recruiting message for the commandant and to establish the King Roger I Military Academy for the RMA.

As of this date the Royal Manticoran Army is looking for a qualified member of the Grand Alliance to serve as the Commandant of King Roger I Military Academy (KR1MA)
The COMKR1MA will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the training of RMA members.
- Managing the KR1MA coursework for the exam process through BuTRAIN
- Appointing School Directors to administer (grade exam), development and training for issues particular to specific areas of instruction.
- Reporting directly to the Office of Deputy Chief of Staff – Training.
The COMKR1MA should be familiar with the current course offering in the KR1MA.
The COMKR1MA must be knowledgeable with .pdf development and have access to Adobe X and Adobe LiveCycle. Both of these are used to build the current RMA tests.
The COMKR1MA is billeted for a Lieutenant Colonel or lower. Rank will be assigned based on time in grade and experience. While this position is open to all members of the TRMN, the person chosen will be reassigned from their current Division to the Royal Manticoran Army and the King William’s Tower.
All applicants must be a member of TRMN in good standing. Letters of interest for this position must be directed to this office. In the letter of interest please indicate which positions, if any, are currently held within the Grand Alliance, and other fan associations. Appointments will be made as warranted.
