To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps From: Marshal of the Corps Mike Houghtaling, Commandant of the RMMC Re: Stand Down, First CORPS (Corps Directive 03-2310)

01 October 2023

With the re-evaluation of the various echelons of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps it has been decided that with five of the six Marine Expeditionary Forces being active there is no longer a need for a senior command echelon to oversee them.

Therefore, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby order the stand down of First CORPS as of 0001 Hours on 01 October 2023.

The duties and responsibilities of First CORPS will be covered by the Office of Marine Forces Command (FORCECOM) until such a time as a CORPS level command is again required.

The Office of the Marshal of the Corps would like to thank Lieutenant General Belleau Wood, Major General Glacier Point and Command Sergeant Major Amanda Barrow for their service as the command triad of First CORPS, you stand relieved.

In service,

Issued by:
Michael Houghtaling, KSK, KDE, MC, SC, OG, NS, DSO
Marshal of the Corps RMMC
Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
Earl Sutherland
