BuShips Directive 2109-01 was issued on 4 September 2021 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive recommissions HMS Kraken (SD-163).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 04 September 2021, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the re-commissioning of HMS Kraken (SD-163). This is a Gryphon-Class Superdreadnought and is assigned to the Third Fleet AOR (Winston-Salem, NC).
The following personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Kraken (SD-163):

Subsequent to the re-commissioning, HMS Reliant (BC-401) shall be transferred to the Active Fleet reserves, following an inspection and any repairs deemed necessary. The vessel shall be made available for re-commission at a later date.
