BuShips Directive 1411-11 was issued 21 November 2014 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Tornado (DD-488).
Order Text
My fellow Members of the Grand Alliance,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on November 21, 2014, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Tornado (DD-488), under the command of Lt. Commander Mark Tassin. This is a Roland Class Destroyer and is assigned to the Second Fleet, based in Park Forest, IL.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Tornado:
- Lieutenant Commander Mark Tassin (assigned as CO of HMS Tornado)
- Lieutenant, senior grade Geoff Strayer (assigned as XO of HMS Tornado)
- Chief Petty Officer Chris Picchi (assigned as Bosun of HMS Tornado)
- Spacer 3rd Class Martin Garcia
- Spacer 3rd Class George Macas
- Spacer 3rd Class Thomas Cheung
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below:
- Mark Tassin to Lieutenant Commander
- Geoff Strayer to Lieutenant, senior grade
- Chris Picchi to Chief Petty Officer
