BuShips Directive 1408-01 was issued 4 August 2014 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It changes command for HMS Intrepid (SD-463).

My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours on August 4, 2014, it is my duty to announce a new Commanding Officer for HMS Intrepid, SD-463. The new CO is as follows:
- Captain, s.g. Brian Horton
Captain Horton is hereby breveted to the rank of Captain of the List and requested to assume his duties as its CO. Remaining crew is unchanged.
