Corps Directive 01-1607 was issued 19 July 2016 under the authority of the Marshal of the Corps. This directive solicits letters of interest and applications for the recently-vacated position of Commanding Officer, Marine Forces Command.

Earlier today General Marchand, COMFORCECOM, tendered his resignation citing personal reasons. I have accepted his resignation effective July 31, 2016. I want to thank him for all the hard work he has performed as COMFORCECOM over the past 3 years. He has been a valued member of my staff and I wish him well in his future endeavors within tRMN.
Therefore, as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby call upon the members of the RMMC and the RMN who wish to participate in the RMMC to step forward and apply for the following billet:
- Commanding Officer Marine Forces Command (COMFORCECOM) Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
For information regarding the above positions please see www.trmn.org and the pertinent Corps Directives pertaining to the office of COMFORCECOM.
All applicants must be a member of the RMN in good standing. Letters of interest must be received by me by September 1, 2016. In the letters of interest please indicate which positions if any are currently held within the RMN, RMMC, and other fan associations. Appointments will be made on or about October 1, 2016.
From July 31, 2016, to October 1, 2016, I or someone I designate will temporarily handle the duties of COMFORCECOM.
