Eighth Fleet Order 1605-02 was issued 02 May 2016 under the authority of the 8th Fleet Commanding Officer. It appoints the new Eighth Fleet Bosun.

Ladies and gentlemen, as of 0001 hours on May 1st, I am naming Chief Petty Officer Scott Madison as Eighth Fleet Bosun. Chief Madison is brevetted to the rank of Senior Master Chief Petty Officer and is requested and required to assume his duties as Fleet Bosun immediately.
