Admiralty Order 2307-04 was issued July 10th, 2023 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. This order updates the authority for naming the COs of holding chapters.

A Branch Heads shall have the authority to name any Commanding Officers of their respective holding chapters, including, but not limited to, themselves, or any other member of their Branch. This Authority is permanently passed to the Branch Heads.
