Naval Directive 23JA-01 was issued 27 January 2023 by the First Space Lord. This directive assigned HMS Menelaus (BC-567) to Task Force 22 in Second Fleet.

As of the date of this Order, by my hand, I hereby assign HMS Menelaus (BC-567) to Task Group 22.1. Captain Flanagan, take your new ship to your duty station in utmost haste to continue your duties.
This order made under my hand will be effective 0001 hours 27-Jan-23.
