Naval Directive 14AU-01 was issued 5 August 2014 under the authority of the First Space Lord. It appoints the commanding officer of Home Fleet. This order was later superseded by Naval Directive 15NO-01.

| Re: | Appointment of Commanding Officer Home Fleet/First Naval District (Naval Directive 14AU-01) |
As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Rear Admiral of the Red Eric Schulman to the position of Commanding Officer of the Home Fleet and the First Naval District with all of the authority and responsibility requisite thereof, effective 01-AUG-14.
As a Numbered Fleet Commander your duties are primarily focused on recruiting in your naval Districts. Addition duties are as highlighted in Naval Directive 01JL-01. Your cooperation with the Space Lords is expected and your mentorship of future appointees to subordinate echelons will be so as well.
In addition as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Commodore Michael Paquette to the position of Deputy Commanding Officer of the Home Fleet and the First Naval District with all of the authority and responsibility requisite thereof, effective 01-AUG-14.
