Admiralty Order 1204-04 was issued April 26, 2012 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. It establishes the minimum interval for changes in chapter class.

As of the date of this Order the following will be the official policies of all Divisions of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. with regards to the changing of Chapter Classes with the increase of members.
The Royal Manticoran Navy does not wish to stifle the ability of our Chapters to role play their way through the Honorverse, but we must do so within the confines permitted by the organization. To that end, it will now be official policy that no ship may change class earlier than three months after the granting of previous class, regardless of growth.
