The Eighth Fleet is one of the numbered fleets within The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc.. Commanded by RADM Dan Brandow, from her flagship HMS Implacable, this fleet's area of operations includes the American states of Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and Colorado.
History
The Eighth Fleet was established in 2011 with the Naval Directive 11FB-07 from the First Space Lord, FADM Lord Sir Scott Akers, to ADM Sir John Roberts, Baron New Mecklenburg to assume command of the fleet. HMS Anasazi formed in the Albuquerque area in February of 2012, under the command of ADM John Roberts. Crew from the Anasazi split off to form HMS Avalon on 1 January 2015, under the command of then-CAPTJG Dan Brandow.
