This page describes one of Mantipedia's policies and guidelines. Please read through the policy below to familiarize yourself with our common practices and rules. |
The TRMN Wiki (colloq. Mantipedia) is an organization-specific reference database written by the Bureau of Communications, for prospective and current members of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc..
Browsing the TRMN Wiki
The TRMN Wiki is, essentially, an encyclopedia. You can start browsing by selecting a subject on the Main Page, and follow any link to a subsequent subject. All articles are interlinked – that is, they have inline hyperlinks to other articles on related subjects. Alternatively, you can use the search box that can be found at the top right of every page.
If there's something we don't cover, or you're having difficulty finding what you're after, send an email to wikimaster at trmn dot org.
What the TRMN Wiki is Not
Although we will house pertinent information about the Honorverse as it relates to our organization, the TRMN Wiki is NOT to be considered an Honorverse resource. We do not and shall not house any articles or pages devoted to specifics about the Honorverse. We heavily rely upon and often guide others to utilize the far superior Honorverse Wiki.
Editing
Only registered users are allowed to edit articles in the TRMN Wiki. To become a registered user, you need to apply to join the Wiki Team. Read our account policy, first, then send an email with your background and abilities to wikimaster at trmn dot org.
Of course, the TRMN Wiki does have a number of policies and guidelines to remember when editing a page. All contributions to the TRMN Wiki are released under a Creative Commons License (CCL). The CCL ensures that the TRMN Wiki will remain freely distributable forever – within the limits of fair use, of course. (See Copyrights for more information.)
