Admiralty Order 1803-03 was issued 29 March 2018 by the First Lord of the Admiralty. This order updates marksmanship awards.

Re:	Marksmanship Equivalencies Using the new RMA Marksmanship Qualifications (Admiralty Order 1803-03)

The RMN, RMMC, Civilian, GSN and other Marksmanship programs shall be conducted as set forth in the RMA Marksmanship Manual. All marksmanship awards shall follow the guidelines set forth in the RMA Marksmanship manual with the exception that the issuing authority for each award in the various services remains as currently set in the relevant Awards Manual and/or superseding Admiralty Orders.

What this means is that for a member of any service to qualify for a Marksmanship ribbon or badge, the RMA Marksmanship Program manual should be used when determining what games count for which ribbon. All awards earned through the marksmanship program will be for whatever award/ribbon is utilized by the earning member’s service of choice (RMN earns RMN Pistol or Rifle, GSN earns the GSN Marksmanship award, etc..). If you have previously earned a marksmanship ribbon or award, it is still valid and does not need to be earned again.

Equivalencies for the various RMA Marksmanship awards (based on your current service branch of choice) are found below:

Royal Manticoran Army Marksmanship Equivalences for Various RMN Component Divisions

Royal Manticoran Navy, Royal Manticoran Marine Corps, and Royal Manticoran Uniformed Civilian branches:

Pistol Marksmanship can be earned via the RMA programs for: Pistol, Grenade, Flechette Gun, Plasma Carbine, Tribarrel

Rifle Marksmanship can be earned via the RMA programs for: Rifle, Disruptor, Grenade Launcher, Plasma Rifle

Grayson Space Navy:

All games as outlined in the RMA Marksmanship manual will count toward the Grayson Marksmanship award.

Imperial Andermani Navy & Republic of Haven Navy:

Once the method for awarding Marksmanship for these branches have been established, they will follow the above method.

Non-Uniformed RMN Civilian branches:

These groups should already by using the RMA Marksmanship program and devices.
