Joint Chiefs Directive 2502-01 was issued 23 Feb 2025 by the Chairman of the Grand Alliance Joint Chiefs of Staff. This order appoints a new Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps.

MEMORANDUM FOR: Field Marshal James “AJ” Olsen, KSK, KDE, MC, SC, OG, RMMC
FROM: VADM Oak Forest, RMN
Baron Grays Harbor,
You are hereby directed and required to proceed to Headquarters, Royal Manticoran Marine Corps, Landing, Manticore; there to relieve Marshal of the Corps Michael Houghtaling, KSK, KDE, MC, SC, OG, RMMC, Earl Sutherland, and take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Additionally, having special trust and confidence in your patriotism, valor, fidelity, and abilities, and by order of Queen Elizabeth III of the Star Kingdom of Manticore, and Empress Elizabeth I of the Star Empire of Manticore, you are hereby appointed as Marshal of the Corps (F-6), in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps, promotion to be effective the 21st day of February, 2025.
