HMS Alchemist (CA-272) was a Star Knight-class Heavy Cruiser within Third Fleet. Commanded by Captain (Junior Grade) Daniel Stephenson, Alchemist claimed Savannah, GA as her charter city.
History
Commissioned in June of 2013, Alchemist got her start as many vessels in Third Fleet did - crewed by officers and ratings trained aboard HMS Chaos. The initial commission was served under the command of Captain (j.g.) Daniel Stephenson, and as was custom at the time, was assigned to the Third Fleet, alongside Chaos; the difference being, Alchemist was based out of Savannah, Georgia.[1] In November of 2016, however, Alchemist was decommissioend, due to a lack of officers to fill out the command staff. [2]
