Eighth Fleet Order 1502-04 was issued 04 February 2015 under the authority of the 8th Fleet Commanding Officer. It designates official Eighth Fleet events for award purposes.

Order Text

Ladies and gentlemen of Eighth Fleet:
The following conventions are hereby designated as official Eighth Fleet events for award purposes:

StarFest (April 17-19, 2015, held in Denver, CO), Lead Ship for this event is HMS Enterprise
Conduit 25 (May 22-25, 2015, held in Salt Lake City, UT), Lead Ship for this event is HMS Jonas Adcock
LepreCon (June 25-28th, 2015 held in Phoenix, AZ), Lead Ship for this event is HMS Claymore
Bubonicon (August 28-30, 2015, held in Albuquerque, NM) This will be a joint operation between HMS Anasazi and HMS Avalon

Please remember that to qualify for awards from these events, you MUST participate (Conduct a panel, man a recruiting booth, etc..) attendance itself is not a qualifying action for awards from Official 8th Fleet Events.

It is my hope that all chapters will do their best to support the actions of other chapters for all of these events, even if the support is from afar by way of advice, graphics, etc…

Let’s remember that we are all here to have fun and find ways to introduce others to the Honorverse.
