Eighth Fleet Order 1408-18 was issued 18 August 2014 under the authority of the 8th Fleet Commanding Officer. It establishes the Eighth Fleet staff.

Order Text

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Grand Alliance,

I am pleased and proud to announce the first members of the Admiral’s Staff for the Eighth (Basilisk) Fleet (known as “Honor’s Own”). The following persons are hereby requested and required to assume their new duties, effective immediately:

• Deputy Fleet Commander: Commodore Diane Kruse-Bulkeley
• Fleet Bosun: MCPO Angel Barrow
• Chief of Staff: Captain, j.g. Eddy Roberts
• Fleet Operations Officer: Commander Dan Brandow

The following persons are hereby breveted to the assigned ranks effective immediately:

• Diane Kruse Bulkeley to Commodore
• Angel Barrow to Master Chief Petty Officer
