Corps Directive 03-1804 was issued 11 April 2018 under the authority of the Marshal of the Corps.

Order Text

To:	All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
From:	Marshal of the Corps Sean Niemeyer, Commandant of the RMMC
Re:	Deputy Marshal of the Corps (Corps Directive 03-1804)

As the RMMC has grown, so too has the need to maintain an orderly succession as well as the need for additional administrative oversight. Therefore, as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, the billet of Deputy Marshal of the Corps is hereby reactivated. The Deputy Marshal of the Corps shall report directly to the Marshal of the Corps. The duties of the Deputy Marshal of the Corps shall be, but not limited to the following:

a. Representing the RMMC in instances where the Commandant is either incapacitated or unavailable for official RMMC functions, b. Oversee projects assigned to him or her by the Commandant RMMC, c. Ensure that the chain-of-command operates smoothly and intercedes when and where necessary.

The Deputy Marshal of the Corps may maintain a staff as necessary to accomplish the duties of the billet and any projects that are assigned the billet. The individual assigned to this billet shall have a minimum rank of Field Marshal.
