Re: Change of Command - COMFORCECOM (Corps Directive 01-2306)

General Shirley Kunz has resigned as COMFORCECOM, and I have accepted it. Her resignation is effective tonight June 12, 2023, at 0000hrs. I want to thank General Kunz for her years as COMFORCECOM. During her years as COMFORCECOM, she and her staff helped keep the RMMC moving along and functioning. It was a pleasure working with her and I wish her luck in her future endeavors.

COMFORCECOM, being an important billet and necessary for the day-to-day functioning of the RMMC needs to be filled immediately. Therefore, as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint the current Deputy COMFORCECOM, General Michael Houghtaling, to the billet of COMFORCECOM. General Houghtaling you are hereby ordered to London Point, Manticore, post haste where you will assume the billet of Commanding Officer Marine Forces Command, RMMC. Said appointment and brevet to effective on June 12, 2023.

The above is effective 11-JUN-23.

In Honour of the Queen!

Issued by:
Marshal of the Corps
Lord Sir Sean Niemeyer, KSK, OM, KDE, KCR, GS
Commandant
Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
Duke, New Ulyanovsk
