BuShips Directive 1607-05 was issued 30 July 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It recommissions HMS Starcrest (DD-73).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on June 11, 2016, by the order of the Third Space Lord, ADM Lord Sir John Roberts, KDE, OR, SC, Earl New Mecklenberg, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the recommissioning of HMS Starcrest (DD-73). This is a Havoc-class Destroyer and is assigned to the Home Fleet (Cohes, NY).
The following Naval personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Starcrest (DD-73):
- CAPTJG Sir Patrick Lindsley, KDE (assigned as CO)
- LTJG Michael Ciaravella (assigned as XO)
- S3C William Ryan (assigned as Bosun)
- S3C Jesse Weinestock
- S3C Jerry Silber
- S3C Ellen Silber
- S3C James Bruno
The following brevets are hereby authorized:
- Michael Ciaravella (LIEUTENANT (SG), RMN)
- William Ryan (CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, RMN)
