BuShips Directive 1504-04 was issued 13 April 2015 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Artegal (CL-493).
Order Text
My fellow Members of the Grand Alliance,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on April 13, 2015, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Artegal (CL-493), under the command of Commander Christa Brolley. This is an Avalon Class Light Cruiser and is assigned to the First Fleet, based in Falls Church, VA.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Artegal:
- Commander Christa Brolley (assigned as CO of HMS Artegal)
- Lieutenant Commander Hal Vaughan (assigned as XO of HMS Artegal)
- Chief Petty Officer Patrick Bunch (assigned as Bosun of HMS Artegal)
- Rear Admiral Eric Schulman
- Petty Officer 3rd Class Derek Hefner
- Spacer 1st Class Greg Ellis
- Comm Tech 2nd Class Wes Rist
- Spacer 2nd Class Leigh Smith
- Spacer 3rd Class Hayden Segel
- Spacer 3rd Class Steve Rogers
- Spacer 3rd Class Jessica Starkey
- Private 1st Class Angus Smith (RMMC)
- Private 1st Class John Pieper (RMMC)
- Civilian-One Caroline Cox
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below:
- Christa Brolley to Commander
- Hal Vaughan to Lieutenant Commander
This action also places HMS Yamamoto Date (DD-540), into the reserve Fleet for future use as needed.
