BuShips Directive 1204-02 was issued 12 April 2012 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Broadsword (CA-47).
Order Text
My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours on April 12, 2012, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Broadsword, CA-47. This is a Broadsword Class Heavy Cruiser under the Command of Captain, j.g. David Bailey and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet.
The crew of this ship consists of the following persons, who are breveted in rank as indicated below:
- David Bailey to Captain, junior grade (and assigned as CO of HMS Broadsword)
- Amber Huhn to Commander (and assigned as XO of HMS Broadsword)
- Bonnie Condon to Chief Petty Officer (and assigned as CPO of HMS Broadsword)
- Chris Bailey to Major (RMMC)
- Sandra Jarrell to Lieutenant, junior grade
- Jeff Jarrell to Platoon Sergeant (RMMC)
- Steven Bailey to Corporal (RMMC)
- Dallas Jarrell to Private, 1st Class (RMMC)
- Megan McGowan to Private, 1st Class (RMMC)
