}}}} was a Apollo-class Light Cruiser within Sixth Fleet. Commanded by Commander Larry Cameron, Ares claimed Missouri City, TX as her charter city.
History
First commissioned in September of 2015, HMS Ares entered service under the command of Commander Larry Cameron out of Missouri City, Texas as part of Sixth Fleet.<ref name="BSD150903">BuShips Directive 1509-03</ref> This crew upgraded to the Apollo-class hull from {{#if:

}}}}, which was subsequently returnd to the Active Reserve. However, this appeared to be simply a stepping stone, as a mere nine months later, in June of 2016, {{#if:

}}}} commissioned, consigning Ares to that same Active Reserve.<ref name="BSD160601">BuShips Directive 1606-01</ref>
