The Manticoran Combat Action Medal is an award issued to any member of the Manticoran military for service during a specific combat action.<ref name="HoS">Manticoran Combat Action Medal: "House of Steel"</ref>
TRMN Information
This award is issued for the successful completion of the requirements for either the Enlisted or Officers Space Warfare Pin, plus additional courses totaling a minimum of 40 exams successfully completed. The additional exams can be from any of the BuTrain/SIA course offerings. Additional awards (stars) may be earned for each thirty-fifth successive course completion.
Recognition
Members can obtain this award by successfully completing forty (40) courses from the Bureau of Training, at any of the academies (ie: SIA, SKU, KR1MA, IMNA, RMMCTC, etc) and earning either Space Warfare Pin. Once you've completed the requirements, MEDUSA automatically notifies the Office of the Sixth Space Lord. Announcements are posted in the TRMN Forums (https://forums.trmn.org/viewforum.php?f=470) monthly (on or around the 4th of the month for the previous month's awards).
For every additional 35 exams completed, you earn a cluster or wreath, depending on your total number of completed exams. MEDUSA will notify the Office of the Sixth Space Lord and your additional MCAM will be included in the monthly announcement.
MCAMs are added, or updated, on your Ribbon Rack in your service record in MEDUSA on or around the 4th of every month for awards earned the previous month.
Space Combat Action Badge (GSN)
The Grayson Space Navy awards the Space Combat Action Badge, an all-metal insignia worn above the ribbon-rack. In TRMN the requirements are the same. A six-pointed Grayson star and supporting rod is added for each additional issuance of the award, up to 50 awards.

Combat Action Clasp (IAN)
The Kaiserliche Kriegsmarine (Imperial Andermani Navy) awards the Nahkampfverschluss (Combat Action Clasp), which is an all-metal insignia. It is worn on the left, above the ribbon rack and (if earned) the Space Warfare Clasp. In TRMN the requirements to earn it and subsequent awards are the same as for the MCAM. The clasp comes in three grades, as follows<ref name="ian_medals">Imperial Andermani Navy Awards and Badges for TRMN, BuComm</ref>:
