Cruiser Division 801 (abbrev: CruDiv 801) was a division of Heavy Cruiser-strength reporting to the Eighth Fleet. Commanded by CDRE Eddy Roberts, from her flagship HMS Helen Zilwicki, this division's area of operations includes the American state of Utah.

History

CruDiv 801 was formed and established in November 2015 with Naval Directive 15NO-04 from the First Space Lord, ADM Lord Sir Scott Akers, to CDRE Roberts to assume command. Its charter member vessels were HMS Helen Zilwicki (flagship) and HMS Jonas Adcock.

When Helen Zilwicki and Jonas Adcock merged to form HMS Siren, the division was ordered dissolved by the acting Chief of Naval Operations, ADM Lord Sir John Roberts in BuShips Directive 1611-16.
