Saganami Cross

Major General Jackie Stuard
MAJGEN Jackie Stuard, RMMC is nominated for the Saganami Cross for serving as the RMMCTC Warrant Officer School Instructor and RMMCTC Deputy Commandant in GFTC for the 12 months up through December 2023. MAJGEN Jackie Stuard has in the five years of his service filled many roles at The Bureau of Training, from instructor, Deputy Commandant RMMCTSC, to Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces Training Command to name but a few. He is always ready to assist both student and staff in any way needed. He is always looking for ways to improve BuTrain. This has included the development of courses and administrative processes to improve the staffs that he is on. I highly recommend MAJGEN Stuard for the Saganami Cross.

Colonel Larry French
COL Larry French, RMMC is nominated for the Saganami Cross for their service to BuTrain and TRMN in the role of Officer Instructor in SIA. Col French has worked in various BuTrain positions for 5 years. Working at BuTrain as an instructor or staff member is often a first position for individuals in TRMN, a way for someone to volunteer and help out the organization and also learn how it functions. BuTrain staff and instructors interact with members throughout the organization at all levels, from the newest spacer to the Space Lords. Oftentimes, a member’s opinion of TRMN is formed by their interaction with their instructor and some members talk with their instructors as often as they do their commanding officers. BuTrain instructors are required to always act professionally with students, assist them if they have questions, teach them if they don’t understand something, exercise independent analysis and judgment when grading exams, and comply with numerous requirements.

COL French currently serves in the following BuTrain positions: SIA Jr. Officer Instructor SIA Sr. Officer Instructor SKUS Head, Historical Society Department SKUS History of 20th Century Instructor

The consistently outstanding performance, dedication to TRMN, and professionalism exhibited by Col French over the last 5 years reflect great credit upon him, the Bureau of Training, and the Royal Manticoran Navy and warrant issuance of the Saganami Cross.

Order of Gallantry

General Bill Farley, Baron Belleau Wood
Whilst at a convention in 2022, General Belleau Wood, KSK, MC, SC, OG, DSO, CBM upon seeing that I, Steadholder Chernakova was without a suitable Grayson escort was deeply concerned and approached me and was emphatically insistent that he would be honored to volunteer to fulfil this important duty in the absence of my Chief Armsman.

Since that very first conference General Belleau Wood has continued to volunteer to fulfil this vital role and has shadowed me constantly during each and every successive conference. It might be added that this was a particularly arduous and difficult task, given the very public and active role that I have, he undertook during each of these conferences and made more arduous during the trying times of the pandemic, where extra safety precautions had to be taken. It is with grateful thanks to the Tester, that this test was successfully passed and that the people of Chernakova Steading could welcome me safely back into their loving fold.

General Belleau Wood’s efforts reflect great credit upon himself and the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps (RMMC). For performing the role of Chief Security Officer to the highest of standards of excellence above and beyond the call of duty, I, Steadholder Chernakova hereby nominate General Belleau Wood for the Order of Gallantry.
