A brigade is a military formation used in The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN) by the Royal Manticoran Army (RMA) and the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps (RMMC).

In canon, a brigade is made up of one or more regiments, and can consist of thousands of personnel. While a regiment "is the highest permanent organizational unit" of the RMA and the RMMC,[1] brigades may be formed from multiple regiments as an administrative unit.

Brigades in TRMN

A brigade is designated a Level 1 multi-chapter echelon formation, consisting of 2-3 chapters, and is commanded by the senior constituent unit CO, who will be brevetted to a minimum rank of Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) if not already at that rank or higher.

Two brigades may be combined to form a division.
