HMS Jonas Adcock (CA-489) is a Saganami-C-class Heavy Cruiser within Active Reserves.

History

Jonas Adcock was first brought into commission on 02 June 2014 under the command of then-CAPTJG Eddy Roberts by order of BuShips. She has participated in many Fleet Events, including Salt Lake City Comic-Con. Eventually, the ship was split into the western suburbs on the Adcock, and the rest of SLC on board HMS Helen Zilwicki on 01 November 2015, forming CruDiv 801. When CAPTJG Schneider was relieved of command by BuShips Directive 1611-15, CDRE Roberts decided to combine the two ships into HMS Siren, decommissioning the Adcock.
