The Office of the [[Commandant]] of the [[Royal Manticoran Marine Corps]] is looking for an individual willing to assume the duties of RMMC Awards Director.

The duties of the office shall include, but not be limited to the following (see [[Corps Directive 06-1804|CD 06-1804]] for more information):


#Coordinate award nominations with the Office of Awards under the [[Fifth Space Lord]] ([[BuPers]]),
# Coordinate and solicit awards from the various Regiments and Naval [[Fleet]]s,
# Coordinate and solicit yearly nominations for RMMC personnel for appointment to [[HMS Unconquered]] and RMN personnel for Colonel of the Marines,
# Coordinate with [[BuComm]] for the production of award certificates,
# Submit awards lists to the [[First Lord of the Admiralty]] for the presentation at the various tRMN conventions, and to the Office of Awards for inclusion into the various member's permanent records.
# Assume other duties as assigned by the [[Marshal of the Corps]].
Prerequisites:
# Be a member in good standing of the [[TRMN|Royal Manticoran Navy]]. Any member of any other branch selected for this position must be willing to transfer to the [[Royal Manticoran Marine Corps]].
# Have completed through SIA-RMMC-0106. Consideration will be given to applicants who have completed SIA-RMMC-0105 and are ready to submit SIA-RMMC-0106.
# While not required, completion of Marine Officer [[Space Warfare Pin|Space Warfare Qualification]] is preferred.
# Consideration will be given to applicants with prior experience as commanding officers, instructors, or other senior officer billets.
# As the “Two-hat” rule will apply, this position is considered a “hat”. Any other position associated with a Ship, MARDET, or Regimental command will need to be put aside by the selected applicant. Any member of the House of Commons selected for this billet will be required to submit their resignation to Commons.
# Be recommended for the position by one of the following: [[MARDET]] Commanding Officer. Ship’s Commanding Officer, Regimental Commanding Officer, or an acquainted [[Flag Officer]]. The recommendation need not accompany the application, but a list of names to contact for this position is required with the application.
The individual assigned to this position will assume the rank of [[Colonel]] and will be posted to RMMC Headquarters at [[London Point]] as his/her primary billet.
Applications for this billet are to be sent to the Deputy Marshal of the Corps, Field Marshal Joseph P. Grieco, Jr., at depdant.rmmc@trmn.org. Applications must be received by May 31, 2022.

Corps Directive 04-2204 was issued 27 April 2022 under the authority of the Marshal of the Corps.

To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
From: Marshal of the Corps Sean Niemeyer, Commandant of the RMMC
Re: Applications for RMMC Awards Director (Corps Directive 04-2204)


The Office of the Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps is looking for an individual willing to assume the duties of RMMC Awards Director.

The duties of the office shall include, but not be limited to the following (see CD 06-1804 for more information):

  1. Coordinate award nominations with the Office of Awards under the Fifth Space Lord (BuPers),
  2. Coordinate and solicit awards from the various Regiments and Naval Fleets,
  3. Coordinate and solicit yearly nominations for RMMC personnel for appointment to HMS Unconquered and RMN personnel for Colonel of the Marines,
  4. Coordinate with BuComm for the production of award certificates,
  5. Submit awards lists to the First Lord of the Admiralty for the presentation at the various tRMN conventions, and to the Office of Awards for inclusion into the various member's permanent records.
