BuSup Directive 1708-10-1 was issued 10 August 2017 under the authority of the Seventh Space Lord. It appoints a new Deputy to the Seventh Space Lord.

It is my pleasure, as of this date of this order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Commodore Les Rickard to the position of Deputy to the Seventh Space Lord of the Admiralty. Fail not in your duties, as you never know when the current space lord will be hit by a bus and may boxes appear on your door step. At this time, you are hereby ordered to the Admiralty House – Landing, Manticore. Post haste, where you will assume duties as Deputy of the Seventh Space Lord.
The above effective today the 10th –August, 2017
