BuShips Directive 1611-09 was issued 09 November 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Diomedes (BC-588).

Attention to Orders:

Effective as of 0001 Hours on November 9, 2016, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of HMS Diomedes (BC-588). This is an Agamemnon-class Battlecruiser and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet (Little Rock, AR).

The following Naval personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Diomedes (BC-588):

Subsequent to this commissioning, HMS Kay (DD-483) shall be transferred to the Active Fleet Reserves, following inspection and any repairs deemed necessary. Kay shall be made available for recommissioning at a later date.
