BuShips Directive 1402-02 was issued 14 February 2014 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It changes command of HMS Excalibur (BC-749).
Order Text
My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours on February 14, 2014, it is my duty to announce the change of command and crew reassignments for HMS Excalibur, BC-749. The new Command Staff is as follows:
- Captain, j.g. Peter Howdeshell, assigned as CO of HMS Excalibur
- Commander Brian Harris, assigned as XO of HMS Excalibur
- Chief Petty Officer Ken O?Dell, assigned as Bosun of HMS Excalibur
The other crew of HMS Excalibur at this time are:
- Lieutenant, s.g. Niki Rece
- Lieutenant, s.g. Amber Howdeshell
- Spacer 1st Class Paul Rankin
- Spacer 2nd George Ellis
- Spacer 2nd Michaela Austin
- Spacer 2nd J. Adam Davis
- Private First Class Troy Chastain (RMMC)
- Spacer 3rd Daniel Newberry
- Spacer 3rd Ryan Hoerber
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated:
- Peter Howdeshell to Captain, j.g., assigned as CO, HMS Excalibur
- Brian Harris to Commander and assigned as XO, HMS Excalibur
- Amber Howdeshell to Lieutenant, senior grade
- Niki Rece to Lieutenant, senior grade
This change also places HMS Ivanhoe into the Reserve Fleet for later use as needed.
