BuShips Directive 1404-05 was issued 29 April 2014 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions GNS Nathan (CL-14).
Order Text
My fellow members of the Grand Alliance,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on April 29, 2014, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of GNS Nathan, CL-14, under the command of Admiral Anne Zecca. This is a David Class Light Cruiser and is assigned to the Fourth Fleet, based in Ocala, FL.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to GNS Nathan:
- Admiral Anne Zecca (CO, GNS Nathan)
- Commander Kaye Downing (XO, GNS Nathan)
- Chief Petty Officer Frank Parker (Bosun, GNS Nathan)
- Commander Iain Howe (RMN)
- Lieutenant, j.g. Walter Green (RMN)
- Petty Officer 3rd Class Donna Parker (GSN)
- Spacer 1st Class Ann Reno (GSN)
- Spacer 1st Class Richard Clark (GSN)
- Spacer 2nd Class Stephanie Smith (RMN)
- Spacer 3rd Class Dendy Clark (GSN)
- Spacer 3rd Class Steve Clothie/ (RMN)
- Spacer 3rd Class John Hallman (RMN)
- Spacer 3rd Class Marcin Matyjaszczyk (GSN)
- Spacer 3rd Class Sandy Sweetland (GSN)

This action also moves the GNS Matthias to the reserves for future use as may be needed.
