Order Text

To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
From: Marshal Sean Niemeyer, Marshal of the Corps
Re: Promotions (Corps Directive 06-1308)

Being Commandant for the most part entails making sure that the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps runs smoothly and that everything is working as it should. However one of my many duties, and one that I quite enjoy, is presenting awards and promotions to those members who are most deserving. As an organization we present awards and promotions to our members to thank them for the time and effort that they put into this organization. We are an all-volunteer organization so it takes a combined effort by all those who volunteer to make this organization work and to be what it is.

A member may refuse any awards or promotions presented to them, however one of the unwritten duties of a member of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps is to accept such awards and promotions presented to them, if for no other reason to show new members, and even existing members, that hard work and dedication is worthy of recognition.

With that being said the following marines shall step forward to be recognized;

  1. First Sergeant Stanislav Cech
  2. Staff Sergeant Eduard Klíma
  3. Platoon Sergeant Ivo Adámek
  4. Private First Class Jaroslav Soukup

The above marines recently volunteered to help provide security for the Shore Leave 35 convention. Even though they were only required to volunteer 10 hours over the 3 day period of the convention, they each ended up volunteering over 24 hours each. The above listed marines have received nothing but praise from the convention staff, other volunteers, and members of this organization, other attendees, and even the guests of the convention. The words professional, courteous, polite, and helpful have all been used to describe their time volunteering. They were even seen making sure that those in wheelchairs or those with handicaps had clear paths through the main corridors. It should also be noted that they had never worked convention security at Shore Leave before, but were able to integrate themselves into the convention security apparatus so completely and effectively that the convention security trusted their judgment. A first to my knowledge for individuals working security for the first time and a testament to their professionalism. Professionalism that extended to when they were not on duty. Their conduct towards everyone at all times was professional and people noticed.

Their actions during Shore Leave 35 set the bar very high for the conduct of members of this organization. They are a shining example of the professionalism that we all should strive to achieve when conducting ourselves in public. In doing so, they have done a tremendous service to advance this organization in the eyes of the convention going public and amongst our peers. They have gone above and beyond what was required of them and they did so with enthusiasm, professionalism and a sense of esprit de corps that is to be admired.

Therefore as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, and after have been confirmed by a promotion board consisting of officers and enlisted personnel of her Majesty’s armed forces, I hereby promote First Sergeant Stanislav Cech to the rank of Sergeant Major and he shall be entitled to all privileges of said rank.

Therefore as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby promote Staff Sergeant Eduard Klíma to the rank of Master Sergeant and he shall be entitled to all privileges of said rank.

Therefore as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby promote Platoon Sergeant Ivo Adámek to the rank of Staff Sergeant and he shall be entitled to all privileges of said rank.

Therefore as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby promote Private First Class Jaroslav Soukup to the rank of Lance Corporal and he shall be entitled to all privileges of said rank.

The above effective 10AUG-13

In Honour of the Queen!

Issued by:
Marshal of the Corps
Lord Sir Sean Niemeyer, KCR, KDE, GS
Commandant
Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
First Earl, New Ulyanovsk
