BuShips Directive 1405-06 was issued 23 May 2014 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Juggernaut (CA-397).
Order Text
My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on May 23, 2014, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Juggernaut, CA-397, under the command of Captain (j.g.) Melyssa Smith. This is a Saganami-B Class Heavy Cruiser and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet, based in Norman, OK.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are returning to service with the RMN and are assigned to HMS Juggernaut:
- Captain (j.g.) Melyssa Smith (and assigned as CO, HMS Juggernaut)
- Commander Doss Buckalew (and assigned as XO, HMS Juggernaut)
- Chief Petty Officer Cole Conner (and assigned as Bosun, HMS Juggernaut)
- Ensign Benjamin Smith
- Ensign Nathan Durbin
- Spacer 3rd Class Larry Everly
- Spacer 3rd Class Maria Soto
- Spacer 3rd Class David Holloway
- Private Alex Torres (RMMC)
- Civilian-1 David Kimbrell
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below
- Melyssa Smith to Captain, junior grade
- Doss Buckalew to Commander
- Benjamin Smith to Ensign
- Nathan Durbin to Ensign
This action also returns GNS David, CL-13 to the Grayson reserve yard for use as needed
