BuShips Directive 1401-07 was issued 28 January 2014 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It changes command of GNS Albion (DD-42).
Order Text
My fellow members of the Grand Alliance,
Effective as of 0001 Hours on January 28, 2014, it is my duty to announce a change of command for GNS Albion, DD-42. The new Command Staff is as follows:
- Commander Elizabeth Cant, assigned as XO of GNS Albion
- Chief Petty Officer Dave Girling, assigned as Bosun of GNS Albion
The Commanding Officer, Martyn Griffiths, remains unchanged.
Additionally, the following persons are hereby breveted to the ranks indicated, effective immediately:
- Elizabeth Cant to Commander
- Dave Girling to Chief Petty Officer
(PLEASE NOTE: Dave Girling will move his Commission as a Lt. Commander in the RMN to reserve status while he serves as the Bosun for GNS Albion.)
