BuShips Directive 1611-05 was issued 07 November 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It changes the command of HMS Beowulf (BC-739).

Lieutenant Commander Martin:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Beowulf (BC-739), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Per BuShips and BuPers policy, you are brevetted to the rank of CAPTAIN (JG), RMN, for this billet.
Additionally, the following personnel are appointed under your command in the related capacities:
- CDR David Hurley, RMN, (RMN-2376-14) is assigned as Executive Officer, relieving Master/Captain Peter Gold, RMMM.
- CPO Megan Miranda, RMN, (RMN-2945-15) is assigned as Ship's Bosun.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express its thanks and appreciation to Captain Gold for his service as Executive Officer.
The above orders are effective on this date, 07 November 2016.
