My fellow members of the Grand Alliance,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on March 16, 2015, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of GNS Joshua (DD-18), under the command of Lt. Commander Neil Simpson. This is a Joshua Class Destroyer and is assigned to the Fourth Fleet, based in Lisburn, County Antrim, UK.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to GNS Joshua:
- Lt. Commander Neil Simpson (CO, GNS Joshua)
- Lieutenant, senior grade William Cuthbertson (XO, GNS Joshua)
- Chief Petty Officer Jean Thomspon (Bosun, GNS Joshua)
- Spacer 3rd Class Derek Souter
- Spacer 3rd Class Allan MacBain
- Spacer 3rd Class Nadia Vigoni
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below:
- Neil Simpson to Lt. Commander (CO, GNS Joshua)
