Helmsman School
The Helm Officer is responsible for the steering of the ship and works closely with the captain while receiving assistance from the Plotting Section.

Plotting Specialist
The Sailing Master on duty, be it an officer or warrant officer, determines the best course possible at the direction of the Captain. They receive assistance in their calculations from the helmsman to avoid known hazards to navigation.

Coxswain - Small Craft School
Small Craft Coxswains pilot the pinnaces, cutters, and shuttles aboard a ship. The warrant officers and officers run the Flight Operations departments and Boat Bays.
